This is a quick-and-dirty primer on fringe magic, technology, and related phenomena you may encounter on the Edge.

Phenomenon		Notes	Tags
Adintec		Adintec is a cluster of magic and lore focused on burning souls for power. It led to the proliferation of Bloodstones and Graven Hulks. The most advanced Adintec includes Nicol Bolas' Eternals (undead super-soldiers) and Adinzar. Raptor Blue spent considerable time investigating and countering the Adintech Conspiracy, which was spreading the knowledge and use of adintec.
Assemblers		Assemblers are biomechanical lifeforms, combining nanomachines and proteins. They organize into hives with distributed thinking. They build AForms (Assembler Forms) to protect their hives and carry out their plans. The Etchinar rebelled against the Assembler Plague and now work against the Plague. The Assemblers were spawned from Reavers.
Dynametal		Dynametal is matter than can change shape, because it holds Metametal and nanites.
Frayed		Frayed are spirits that feed on the Weave. They can possess humanoids and enhance their abilities. Fraying is so destructive that it's banned by most factions, gods, and even devils and demons.
Mechadead		Mechadead are mechanically-enhanced undead. One example is zombies with armor plating and retractable swords.
Metametal		Metametal is a composite resource used by many advanced tech systems. It's essentially "food for nanites."
Paramatter		Paramatter is unstable matter/energy. It's ready to be matter or energy at any time, based on what the user wants. It's usually composed of rainbow-colored blocks called "myxls." Many spells briefly use paramatter. Myxls can also be shaped into MForms (myxl forms). The members of Raptor Red are MForms, using TIN for remote control.
Talarin Immersive Network (TIN)		TIN is a system for controlling drones at a distance, using full-sensory immersion.	(suspected)
Violet Creep		Violet Creep is a magical substance that allows users to manipulate probability (or luck). It causes mental instability, including in gods. The members of Raptor Red were in contact with Violet Creep when they died at the Battle of Gevoka. This made it possible to reincarnate them as MForms. It also gives them a way to track gods infected with creep.
