Vyrik includes Planters and Reavers.

They are believed to be among the oldest species in the area of the multiverse that includes Earth. The Vyrik are aberrations: they are not native to the multiverse. (Many other spirits are immaterial but still native.) Nevertheless, Vyrik have been active in the multiverse at least as old as dragons, giants, Illithids, and Aboleths. The similarities between Planters and Reavers leads some experts to assert that they evolved from the same species but diverged (similar to Homo sapiens and Neanderthals). This divergence may have been deliberate.

Assemblers and Etchinar are distantly related to Vyrik.

Ink on Why Vyrik Conquer

Ink: My people, the Etchinar, are a splinter faction from Assemblers, who were created by Vyrik. You know the Vyrik as Reavers and Planters. I know much about them, both rationally and intuitively. It may help to understand their... choices... at Pebblebrook, to understand the Vyrik mindset. Some Etchinar extrapolate that the Vyrik are not driven to conquer by ego or fanaticism, as with many Kith species and cultures. Rather, some believe they are driven by fear: fear of all things not Vyrik.
