SpiritNet is a magitec system for communication over long distances and planes of reality. A SpiritNet node uses software to create a packet of information. A messenger spirit moves the packet to another node, where it is unpacked. Even across planes, the process can take mere minutes. In this way, a non-magical user can benefit from the speed and transcendence of spirits.

A typical SpiritNet node is the size and weight of a mini fridge. It requires regular magical maintenance by an individual with arcane power and training in the SpiritNet rituals and protocols.
