Mission Report

Party: Lyndi Fletcher (Aslene), Jane Irwin (Cael), Proud Flame (Aunne), Shiro (DragoN), Sylvi (Daewendriel), Kromrak (Sielic), Isabelica (Basil), Farida (Kitsunewill)

Raptor Blue continues battling the elementals, but then shifts tactics and tries negotiating. They succeed. They learn more about the elementals' history and that of the Invictus. Then a time wave sends the team back to the edge of the Daysahren crystal sphere. The team regroups, debates, and plans. They re-enter the crystal sphere and board the Invictus. They make contact with the fire elementals and avoid a fight. Shiro and Jane repair the vortex and the elementals return home. Proud leads repairing the reactor housing. Shiro leads setting up the auxiliary power generator. The team prepares to travel to the auxiliary bridge.

  • The elementals explain that hundreds of them rushing back to the Inner Planes tore rents between the Prime Material Plane and their homes
  • Some elementals were injured or killed by the tattered vortex, so the rest stayed aboard
  • The elementals warn about a time wave

  • The team is back aboard the Tardigrade, approaching the crystal sphere
  • Phobos has the binders from engineering
  • Ammo has been spent
  • Bron thought he caused the time loop by picking up the exoskeleton
    • It's dwarf-sized, originally ran on a magitec bond crystal
    • Team moves it to Shiro's workroom


  • Team regroups
  • Team discerns that part of the problem is the conflict between divinities, and the Paths of Giving and Taking
  • The battle has been going on for a century, and it's preventing the Weave from healing
  • Divides into work groups to research and prepare
  • Team debates the ethics, agrees to try to tilt the balance to the Kotah and the Path of Giving
  • Invictus has two chapels: Kotah and Agontah


  • Belica and Sylvi build a sensor for time waves, working with Braid and all their sensor data
  • Shiro and Jane develop a plan to stabilize the elemental vortex
  • Proud, Lyndi, Kromrak, and Gatriel discuss the balance of power between the battling divinities

Into UON-432, Again

  • The elven guardian spirits are agitated
  • Immensely big: Eagle, lizard, bat, stag, crab
  • What are you doing?
  • The team answers
  • They seem satisfied


  • The team enters the Invictus as before
  • They make contact with the fire elementals and avoid a fight


  • Jane and Shiro stabilize the vortex
  • Sylvi and Belica monitor for a time wave
  • Proud fetches metametal from Bron, repairs the reactor housing


  • Kromrak works with elemental to etch a friendly intro on the wall, to reduce possible future conflict
  • Kromrak tells the elementals that Raptor Blue and especially Jane Irwin helped them
  • The elemental leader's name is Sizzle of Fat on a Stone by the Ocean
  • Sizzle warns the team that there are undead and undead elementals aboard
  • Before he enters the vortex home, Sizzle asks Gatriel about standing with flesh types
  • Gatriel: "They free slaves. I admire that."
