Continuing to Explore the Hulk

• Paused for a short rest
• Cadeos catches up with the team
• Melusine stealths into the chest of the hulk, scouting around
• Team explores downward/inward, stealthily
• Door is electrically trapped, Jane uses Mage Hand to open it, blocked from the far side
• H sends Ellison into the room, discovers that some rooms in the interior of the hulk have been retrofitted to live in; this is an office/bedroom, well-lit; warmth and pleasing scent (forest?) from a large crystal in the corner
• J & C use walking stick and strength to shove the door open
• Z notes that the furniture is gnome-sized
• Z searches clothing and personal effects
  • High-quality taste (e.g., metallic embroidery)
  • Undisturbed for many months

  • LRC-marked paperwork
  • Their state goal: increase business in arms and mercenaries on Tessera

• Team notes an undead sentry on patrol in the room above
• Raptors find the cursed jumpcore
• H has vision of Fortune's Edge killing ships under the water, but its jumpcore was cursed by the power of a Great Old One of the ocean. It was teleported to the Frostwall Mountains (along with thousands of gallons of seawater)
• J cuts the jumpcore out of the housing (6" x 4' black cylinder)
• J freezes the jumpcore into an ice cube with a handle, carries it
• Team finds the kitchen (environmental control)
• Team finds the pantry (cold)
• Team finds the mess hall (environmental control), with a hatch
• Dente (Cadeos' raven) investigates down the hatch, finds the garbage pile
• Team prepares for battle
• Ellison stealths ahead, sees the bloodstone heart, guarded by several mechadead
• The heart is uncut gems, gold and silver wire; surrounded by monitoring devices that look non-Tesseran
• The heart has clearly ruptured: many gems are cracked and blackened, and there's no glow
• Proud stealths ahead, is spotted by mechadead, battle ensues
• Proud sets off a flour bomb
• Jane casts Spike Growth
• Mechadead travel on the walls
• Zora casts Fireball
• Haelra casts Blight
