Mission Report

Battle

• Fight turns in the heroes' favor
• Female human black junkie starts to Change, possibly turning into an orc
• Most gnolls killed
• Last gnoll tries to escape
• Chuck experiences a moment of team awareness: able to know where the other heroes are and share their perceptions
• Gnoll knocked out
• Jane tries to help female junkie, using Cure Wounds

Aftermath

• Nasty: lots of blood, bad smells
• Jane starts treating the female junkie, who is going into labor
  • Joe and Ajami help
  • Create a stretcher using their staves
• The heroes secure the unconscious gnoll with zipties and duct tape
• Heroes explore the house
  • Most of it is in terrible condition, including minimal furniture, lots of garbage, and dirty bathrooms

  • Sliding metal door, jammed shut, off its rails
• Conversation through door with Black Mambas
• Lyndi takes pictures of drug workshop, takes composition book with details of drug processing
  • Lyndi took Wasteland
  • Ed took pot
  • Left heroin
  • Gang bangers and Rosena Guerrier
  • Lyndi and Rosena pledge truce until sunrise
• Luthic appears with two Claws of Luthic
  • Demands that Jane choose one life
  • Jane chooses Joslin
• Lyndi prays to her god

  • Joe does that, it starts downloading the baby

  • Outside, watching, approaches Jane

Hospital & Talarin

• Jane, Joe, Ryu ride in ambulance to hospital with Joslin and baby
  • Secret emergency room
  • Joslin is doing great for a rapid metamorphosis (Luthic's blessing?)
  • Baby is dead, Ryu takes possession of the corpse
• Chuck takes sedan to hospital
• Lyndi, Ed, Ajami take gnoll to ally
  • Talarin Corporation, downtown, very secure building
  • Hazmat-suited team takes gnoll
  • Dr. Tenesha Kennet, elf
  • Secure science facility, imprisons and studies gnoll, gives samples to Lyndi
  • The team gives fresh Wasteland samples to Dr. Kennet
• Joe requests cloud storage from Max to accommodate baby's growing spirit

Closure

The team reunites at base. Nails and Max debrief them. The team has at least one day of downtime as Nails and Dr. Kennet confer on the new intel and evidence.
