Thursday, November 9, 2017 ((Aug 5, 2018))
Team: Lyndi Fletcher (PC & player absent), Jane Irwin (Cael), Chuck Nielson (Ari), Edward Chase (Aunne), Ryu (Dargren), Quill Draper (quorgi)

Early Thursday Morning

  • Quill sleeping in Ed's room, drinking and smoking before bed (thoughts and prayers of the common people)
  • Ryu meditating, some gaming, then sleep
  • Ed's spectacular room, watches stars, sleeps in hammock in rafters
  • Chuck, Freddie Mercury poster
  • Jane stays up late, messy room, research
  • Alarm goes off, also Joslin helps wake up heroes, directs them to briefing room

Confrontation at the L Station

  • Before bed, Jane's birds narrowed the search for Raph Decosta to the Forest Park neighborhood
  • Max and Draco focused camera analysis there
  • Around 12:30 am, they find Raph and wake up the Raptors
  • Lyndi is away on a case as a Chicago police detective
  • Forest Park, blue line, Pulaski Station
    • CTA CCTV spots Raph waiting
  • On route
    • CTA received report of loud argument among three teens
  • Arrival, split up
  • Train Station at Night
  • Ryu sneaks up, notices CTA officer is odd
  • Stygi (Jane's squirrel) sneaks up on arguing teens
  • Raph trying to persuade Lisette to run away with him, Colby trying to persuade her to stay in Chicago, Raph saying that he has power to protect her, Colby saying that he has power, too
  • Ed shifts appearance to look like Michael Paulson, Raph's boss at Best Buy
  • CTA officer shoots Ed in the back of the head, Ed feigns going down
  • Jane summons a Bear Spirit Totem
  • Raph is Unbound and has warlock powers
  • Raph casts Mage Armor
  • Colby summons a Cyberman (from Doctor Who)
  • Raph banishes the Cyberman
  • Lisette falls backwards over a bench
  • CTA officer killed by Jane, bursts with vermin
  • Ghost jellyfish escapes from the officer's corpse, kills civilian, possesses him
  • Colby summons a Banshee (from StarCraft)
  • Quill blasts civilian zombie with Sacred Flame, corpse erupts with vermin, Jane and Chuck resist disgusted/disorienting effect
  • Banshee fires rocket at Raph, Ryu deflects it with a kick (19 -> 3 damage to Raph)
  • Raph hits Colby with Eldritch Blast, sends him unconscious over the edge of the platform
  • Ed and Quill try to keep Lisette safe
  • Jane using Healing Word on Colby, tells him to stay put
  • Ghost jellyfish is attacked by the heroes, uses Dimension Door to disappear, Jane recognizes the spell
  • Raph looks surprised and confused by the jellyfish leaving
  • Raph to Lisette, "You'll regret choosing him over me." Ryu backhands him. Uses Dimension Door to disappear (very similar spell effect to jellyfish's use)
  • Ryu intercepts Colby, Colby gives Ryu a crown of jagged red metal with iridescent, opal-like stones
  • Jane tells vermins swarms to disperse, brings bats to her to search for the jellyfish and Raph, will use ravens in daytime
  • The crown grows inner thorns that hurt Colby
  • Draco coaches Ryu on banishing the Cyberman, then sending the Banshee up and cloaking it; trying to banish the Banshee would hurt Colby more
  • Quill comforts Lisette
  • With police inbound, heroes depart with Colby and Lisette
