RMS 2-4: Saving Singh Solutions

Mission Report


Tuesday, March 16, 2027 ((2024-07-28))
Team: Alice (Cael), Ava (Basil)

We were joined by Ava, a new Marshal. She arrived via dogsled. The dogsled courier alerted us to a possible distress signal north of our route. Alive, Ava, and an Oxyn pilot (Tinkerbell) flew north to investigate. We found the snow train of the Singh Solutions engineering company. We swept and cleared the train, including fighting a RTec scav copter drone. The train is a well-equipped and well-stocked mobile engineering base. All the Dvar were in cryo stasis to halt an RTec bacterial infection.

We traced control of the infection to a RTec scav gator in the front car. Alice and Ava engaged the gator. We used multiple powers to strengthen the host, Chomps, in resisting the Reaver parasite. Then we were able to injure the RTec components and put the monstrosity to sleep. Alice started purging the RTec from Chomps and asked whether he wanted to keep his weapons and cybernetic enhancements. He did.

    • Attacked by a pack of giant stone crabs
    • Then attacked by a frost worm, but an ironmaw vulture drove it off
    • Then a bad storm interfered with navigation, crashed
    • Something slammed into the roof, went out and inspected, found some Reaver materials, burned
    • Bacterial infection started, put crew into cryo to suspend it
    • Went into cryo, turned off the heat
