RMJ 0-3: Wraith Tries to Stop Mercenaries

Mission Report


Sunday, February 7, 2027 ((2022-11-06))
Team: Wraith (kingofburritos)

Wraith had been on planet about one day. I arrived to deliver a bounty to the Talarin Corporation. A Talarin staffer connected me with Samantha Reid (Tabaxi, she/her), Colonel in the Republic Army, Intelligence Section. She asked me to meet her at her apartment. I arrived before she did and I met her sibling Franklin (Tabaxi, they/them). Franklin was wearing a large cast on their left leg. We made some small talk. Then the Wall went up. The building went into lockdown. I hacked the security system and discovered two mercenaries moving towards the apartment. I moved Franklin into the kitchen for safety. I lured the mercs into the apartment and tried to neutralize them. However, I went down. A security guard arrived and a major gunfight ensued. Both sides fire repeatedly without resolution. Then a pair of Republic Troopers arrived and used gas to subdue the mercs. One of the troopers was a cleric and stabilized me. I was transported to a hospital and survived. Later, Colonel Reid visited me to thank me for trying to protect her sibling.
