The team rests after the warehouse op. They meet the next morning. Max gives updates. Lyndi is still meeting with allies on the Top 10 situation. The Scaly Nook is under construction in the rear bailey of the Tower of Brass Leaves. Lornok Bittercoat checks out. The Mordinsamman faith is considering a public position on slavery. Celestials are returning to Dolmodeen. Myriad hypothesizes that the Assembler Plague is allying with the Black Pyramid. Tiamat's cults are preparing for something. Max briefs the team and they travel to Clerk's Ward. Kromrak and Shiro deliver the wagon to near the Adaption Group building. Proud and Jane infiltrate the 3rd floor. They begin gathering intel and planting surveillance and explosives. Sylvena and Belica pose as construction workers on the 4th floor. Belica finds a powerful, old undead dormant on the 3rd floor. The heroes continue the op.

  • Incidentally, the gods of the dwarves have directed the leaders of Dwarven Mountain to hold a conclave
  • Holy leaders of the Mordinsamman faith have come from across the multiverse, including from Tessera
  • They're debating openly positioning the Mordinsamman faith on the issue of slavery
  • The Unbroken Tide has asked to participate. They've been allowed to send observers but they can't speak in the conclave or lobby the delegates
  • Unbroken Tide representative is Lixiss Qincyne
  • Lixiss is a protege of Clell Omri and a spook


  • Celestials are returning to Dolmodeen
  • These are celestials that served She Who Claims the Last in the past
  • But as her worship faded and her followers shifted their faith, the celestials drifted to serve other gods
  • Now many are returning, and this is causing some friction and imbalancing among some gods
  • Kinda good news for Gatriel, since her move to Dolmodeen's service stands out less
  • Max: I'll confer with Lornok on ensuring the Scaly Nook plans (e.g., vines) don't damage the Tower infrastructure
  • Max: Myfir will help register Jane as a cleric of Big D


  • Myriad asked me to share a brief report
  • Myriad came to Sigil because they're tracking the activity of the Assembler Plague
  • Myriad has a hypothesis that the Assemblers are making a deal with the Black Pyramid, to serve as its agents outside the Astral Plane
  • They may have already made this deal


  • Finally, some chatter about draconic cults
  • These are cults that worship Tiamat and her chromatic dragons
  • They're being visited by two powerful agents of Tiamat
  • They're twins: one's a draconic bloodline sorcerer, one's a warlock, likely of Tiamat
  • These agents are purging traitors in the cults, including our allies' spies
  • They're organizing the cults for… something
  • Our allies are trying to get more intel

  • Caterina has begun modernization and expansion of an abandoned outbuilding, the Livestock Registry and Assessment Building
    • Bringing some Earth corporate sensibilities
    • Calls her department the "Adaption Group"
    • She pitched it like a futures planning group, to help chart a course for the Fated into the Sixth Reset
  • Their space is in the Hall of Records compound, but not in the main building
  • Guards on the Adaption Group building
    • Guards are Mercykillers and LRC
    • Some guards armed and armored with mythic tech
    • Some guards have Earth tech, including assault rifles
  • Like most of the factions, the Fated are led by a Factol. Caterina is a Factor, the next-lower rank


  • Remember that the League of the Rusted Crown likes to include surprise monsters in their garrisons
  • e.g., Loxoda at Ramshead, the Aerion absorbers on the barge
  • While serving Mr. Smith, Caterina worked closely with the League
  • She may have taken a similar approach to the Adaption Group building
  • This mission depends to avoiding a direct fight
  • May need to evade something very dangerous

Starting the Op

  • Team travels to Clerk's Ward


  • Front team: Kromrak and Shiro
    • Haul the wagon to the Hall of Records
    • Kromrak is hauling the wagon
  • At delivery lane, warforged checks credentials
  • Proud n20 on forging Fated credentials


  • Infiltration team holds station in the air near the site while Front team is traveling to the Tower and traveling within the compound
  • Guards have skyblue armbands
  • The Fated are using some slaves to build the Adaption Group Building
  • Mix of mythic tech and Earth-tech (e.g., goliaths working a cement mixer)


  • Infiltration team: Proud with Jane in lizard form, Sylvena and Belica blending in as construction workers
  • Sylvena's Sigrun is traveling with Proud
  • Isabelica: Belica is going to use a ring of alter self to look like a normal human although she finds their ears and skin color boring
  • Isabelica: so she looks kind of sad and drab


  • Jane senses tin soldiers and a larger single corporeal undead, passive
  • Belica finds a powerful, old, nauseating undead presence, probably a vampire


  • Infil team finds war room with whiteboards with speculation on other factions' weaknesses and odds in the Top 10
  • Proud drops a bug in the war room.
  • They take pics
  • The Fated board is erased, but Proud takes pics hoping to still get intel


  • Proud swipes an employee badge
  • Alicia Campbell, IT
  • Proud shifts appearance to Alicia

  • Shiro sends a hornet drone to spy on the spelljamming building
  • Hobgoblin foreman takes the credentials from the front team, directs them to park the wagon in a particular spot
  • Shiro sets the timer for 15 minutes
  • Shiro notes the foundry the steel beams came from (Earth corp)
  • Kromrak notes a tiefling in disguise as human
  • Max: Might be a spy from another faction


  • Proud finds Earth-tech spook stuff (like CIA) for a secure, difficult-to-detect wireless network
  • Might be related to the tin soldiers
  • Proud takes pics of the equipment boxes
  • Proud climbs up above the server room and places a charge


  • Shiro perfectly positions the wagon for the main event (n20)


  • Sylvena snaps pics of blueprints
