Overview

• Ryu recalled to his temple for an indefinite time; Draco anchored to Lyndi
• Palisade will be activated (after hearing and attack on RB, and then the battle at Capparelli Elementary), at least two months will pass, Farwatch estimates 5 months of protection
• Multiple short scenes in this episode, with some time jumps
• During lock down

Bronislav

• Heals using nanopaste
• Max: Nanopaste is available, but a restricted substance. Less restricted than Assemblers, but still on a watch list.
• Draco: Bron has some nanopaste, but it's a nominal supply. His self-repair capabilities will be limited without more.
• Draco sounds a little different in the Chain, now that they're anchored in Lyndi.
• Draco: > explains that Bron is faster and more nimble if he doesn't have to worry about pasting his pilot with G-forces
• Draco: > explains that Bron has very impressive passive and active sensors
• Planar contract renegotiated
• DM: > Contract makes Bron an employee of R3M, re-contracted, reporting to Nails and Lyndi
• DM: There is a BBQ Team to celebrate Bron, Quill, and Riggs
• Cyrus Riggs: Cyrus spends extra time speaking with Bronislav to become acclimated to Bron and becoming more familiar with Bron.

Dwight Mackey

• Max: FYI, I checked the Charter first, then systematically scanned and inventoried the standard kit the troopers were carrying
• Mackey is very charismatic and very smart
• The Breakwater won't last forever
• Need to be ready, need every advantage we can get
• Every technology comes with risks; we simply need to learn how to manage them effectively
• Mr. Holloway excels at finding, obtaining, and mastering such technology
• Mr. Holloway was doing such work for Primex, Corp Bloc, CRA, and hence humanity and Earth
• Mackey now knows what Holloway was doing
• Doesn't like devils and demons, at all
• League offers us tremendous opportunities; just because some deal with devils or demons, can still deal with the org (mentioned German scientists working for US after WW2)
• Alludes to Iowa Event, agrees that Primex could heal Asher Grayfeather
• Lyndi shifts to parley
• Mackey explains that LRC won't get a vote if their power comes from devil and demons
• Holloway tasked with cutting edge R&D on weapons and defenses
• Explains that Neocyclic approached Primex (for its Farwatch and DOD connections), reported on the development of metabiotic crystals, with Wasteland as a carrier and prophylactic against lethal complications from the Change
• Lyndi explains how the Raptors got to the elementary school
• Mackey pushes for agreement on releasing the three troopers
• Ed shares his speculation
• Mackey offers Ed a job (not knowing who Ed really is)
• Holloway was investigating how Dante Hyland got hired at NeoCyclic; Dante Hyland was a staffer at the facility, had contacts among the Chicagoland gangs (including the Mad Mambas); the distribution to the street was a debacle
• Holloway was directing creation of Wasteland 2.0 for a systematic use
• Holloway reported on evidence suggesting the arrival or creation of a new sentient machine spirit; that lead to trying to capture a mortal anchor (i.e., Ryu to get to Draco), to try to redeem himself to Mackey before the Wasteland debacle is fully uncovered
• Lyndi affirms that Draco exists and is part of her team
• Mackey offers to let R3M visit the facility, but R3M won't probe on-site R&D alternatives to the metabiotic crystals as Change causes; in exchange for Holloway
• Mackey affirms his intention to destroy the crystals, but not before he uses them to get more information and cooperation from the League
• R3M gets to send someone to observe Holloway's execution (Cyrus)
• Mackey separately agrees to offer Lyndi help getting treatment for her cousin
• Mackey also sends something (piece of prophecy)
