    • Nicol Bolas is a dragon, and a tyrant of unparalleled power, ambition, and evil

    • Mr. Smith is one of his generals
    • Smith was at Quarenzend, he had infiltrated the diabolic host, had his own mission, stole the plans for the Final Pyramid, traded them to Nicol Bolas for secret of lichdom

    • Tundinzarn was an experiment, to perfect the process of the Final Pyramid
    • Nicol Bolas trapped my father, turned his knowledge into a tool
    • The experiment was a success, turned his attention to building the Final Pyramid in Amonkhet

    • Someone had betrayed Smith, stole the book, started removing pages
    • I was able to sneak in because it had once been my lab
    • Smith was using the Chaos Orb to turn bloodstones into metabiotic crystals, was teaching the art to Magara Thistledown
    • Smith cast Imprisonment, trapped me in a gemstone
    • At first, there seemed to be nothing I could do from within the stone
    • But then I was visited by a divine presence, and it showed me how to send my music, and only my music out into the multiverse, a kind of message in a bottle
    • Not long before you found the Vault, Smith transferred my soul to his phylactery
    • Smith has a staff with curved horns (the symbol of Nicol Bolas), with a Chaos Orb between the horns

  • Raptors take down Guardian of the Box (Draco gets kill shot with Fire Bolt)
  • Teacup casts Guardian of Faith
  • Battle continues
