Escape

    • Tablet with view of compound, see unmarked helicopters land in parking lot, corporate heavy security dismount, unmarked armor
    • Hispanic woman in a stylish long coat, talking on smartphone
    • Something wrong with the video: can't quite make out her face
    • Tingle on the back of your neck
    • Woman looks at sky, turns slowly, looks directly at camera

    • Dr. Arthur "Nails" Kelly: a human male of medium height with broad shoulders, wearing a gray, chalk-striped three-piece wool suit and black silk tie. He's in at least his late thirties, with age and worry etched around his dark eyes

    • Isawa talks briefly with Nails, takes Timothy, leaves through power line

    • (Ari) Chuck Nielson: muscle, a warrior who's about to discover just how hot your anger can burn and how you can use that rage; here because you're a mercenary, and perhaps because you believe in the activism FDAC represents
    • (Zenru45) Joe Irwin: hacker and arcanist; here because your sister is involved, and because you've been looking for the Edge for years; you've found it
    • (ShadowRyuu) Ryu: monk, very little we'll said is news to you; here because your sensei has decided you're ready for the next chapter in your education
    • (Aunne) Edward Chase: rogue and survivalist, almost nothing we'll say is news to you; here because your boss has tasked you to help us

    • FDAC is a front for the Daedalus Concord, which is a member of the Phoenix Group alliance
    • Daedalus suspected something was wrong, asked R3M to investigate
    • We tasked Lyndi for this
    • Timothy Sutton is his real name; an operative for Harmony
    • Harmony: A secret society (cult) with a reactionary view to most paranormal beings and activities. Their motto is "Humanity trafficks with creatures of the Abyss at its Peril." Some members are militant Christians, some are Neo Nazis. Very little is known about this group.
    • He infiltrated the FDAC online community as Westpoint
    • We didn't realize they had become sophisticated enough to infiltrate our network
    • NeoCyclic was doing R&D on jumpgates, a kind of portal created by technomancy to instantly travel somewhere else on Earth or somewhere else in the multiverse
    • Evidently, they also were also abducting and experimenting on metahumans
