Mission Report


Sunday, March 15, 2027 ((2026-09-20))
Operatives: DK, Stream, Alara, Rabbit

The operatives finished the fight against Maldrik Vire and his hell hounds. Rabbit burrowed into the jumpgate room, killed Vire's physical form, and then killed his spectral form. She collected a bag of soul coins (the fallen LRC). Alara healed DK and DK sealed the hole in his armor. Stream neutralized the blue nanites inside the armor. DK and Rabbit talked with Emily Hollins and sent her to the Super 7. The operatives decrypted two memory beads. They killed the remaining hell hounds, then worked together to disassemble the Shadow Curse node: a lazotep meteorite. They set the facility's reactor to explode and watched it happen. Then they traveled to the boathouse. The surviving ghosts and spirits were rebuilding from the LRC attack. As living beings, the operatives could access the waiting messages, in which the Tanyth Aramont Empire explained the Wall.

  • In boathouse fight, Vire captured 5 souls of Fallen LRC who died, stored in bloodstones
  • Vire and the remaining fallen LRC reached the lab

  • Vire merged jumpgate from lab with lazotep meteorite of Shadow Curse, opened an unstable gate to the Nine Hells of Baator
  • His ally sent through 5 cyborg hellhounds, Vire put bloodstones in them

  • Kassik Orridar (Aven, he/him), sorcerer-architect from Amonkhet, could help with modifying the Serenity Cove permimeter wall to also function as a Shadow Curse radar
  • Emily Hollins: The Untamed Council approved Clan Stone Turtle to try using Titan mechs from Primex Primex forces defeated the Shadow Curse node guardian Stone Turtles helped Primex set up lab to study Shadow Curse, ostensibly to remove it
