The Circus Divergia is a legendary band of illusionists, sensualists, and other entertainers. Hard intel is limited. However, a great deal of stories and rumors surround the Circus.

The Circus is a planes-crossing organization. One of their specialties is playing on the uncertainty, wonder, and fear of commoners regarding the multi-planar nature of the multiverse. Most commoners have zero experience with planar travel, but they have legends and fairy tales about places like the Feywild, the Shadowfell, the Inner Planes, and so on. Some of the Circus' menagerie and acts are allegedly beings and arts from other planes. Just as Buffalo Bill brought an exotica version of the Wild West to New England and Europe, the Circus brings the exotica of "other realms."

Granny Bones: 
Most agree that the Circus was founded by Sissazzoshh the Epicure and Triandam Dusk. Sissazzoshh is a male djinn duke with reputation for selling bed slaves of rare ability.
Triandam Dusk is male Shadar-Kai with a reputation for recruiting and training athletes and acrobats. Triandam's surname suggests he is a bastard, but he apparently wears it proudly.
Triandam Dusk seduced a minor lady of the Winter Court and stole some faerie secrets of illusions.
The Circus existed since at least the 1920's, but possibly the 1880's or earlier. Some stories say that the Circus has been formed, retired, and reformed several times. Some say this is because the founders' passion for the work waxes and wanes.
The Circus travels throughout the multiverse, often without an announced itinerary or clear pattern. It rarely visits a single location twice. The notable exception is Sigil, where it's appeared many times.
Some say that the Circus Divergia was an unofficial part of the Chicago Columbian Exposition in 1893.
The Circus was last in Sigil in July 2015.

The Circus' performers and attractions vary widely over time, including acrobats, trapeze artists, jugglers, beast tamers, beast riders, tightrope walkers, illusionists, contortionists, and clowns. The performers have also included some were-beings (e.g., a werebear, a weretiger).
Rixa was a performer. She was a beast tamer and beast rider. The Circus "beasts" have included fauna and flora from across the multiverse, including dire beasts, displacer beasts, dinosaurs, two cockatrices, giant beasts (e.g., a giant toad), a hell hound, giant insects, and so on.
The Circus has a small, dedicated fan base who call themselves the Divergents. They each wear a piece of jewelry with the Circus' logo, and they maintain a loose interplanar communications network to share sightings of the Circus.
The Circus has been used as a front for a variety of criminal activities, including prostitution, smuggling, manufacturing and dealing drugs, and assassination. The Circus' dark reputation is part of its appeal to many of its customers, especially the Divergents.
Sissazzoshh has ties to the League of the Rusted Crown. The Circus was used by the League to experiment with Adintech. This includes visiting Amonkhet and converting Oskar into a living book.
Rixa left the Circus before the Adintech experiments began. She left because she was tired of the Circus prioritizing crime over art. She has visited the Circus occasionally. She has followed news and rumors. But members of the Circus voluntarily undergo an enchantment that compels them to keep its secrets, for life.
The Circus contracts planesjammer ships to travel. Bree Ambersheaf and her ship, the Dawn Chaser, helped transport the Circus, off and on. Bree had some kind of disagreement with Sissazzoshh and Triandam, and she stopped flying for them.
