Fighting the Collective

Ink: A hivemind is indistinguishable from the Planter spirit within. But I believe that you are asking about the constructed and assimilated beings that make up the broader hive. I refer to its senses, tools, and weapons, as it were. The Planters call these beings the "Marked." It is absolutely possible to intervene, although a nontrivial challenge. The hivemind's hold is strong. Yet Etchinar are deeply committed to providing every sentient being the freedom of self-determination. My kin have developed a variety of physical and software measures to disrupt a hivemind's control of Marked beings.
