Wedding of Sky and Wild
Moment
You dream of a party celebrating the wedding of two women.
One bride is a tall woman of stark beauty. Her flesh is brown and semi-translucent and filled with swirling storm clouds and lightning. Her black hair is short and spiky, with sparks of lightning flickering through it. Her eyes glow with the deep blue of a coming storm. She wears a robe of clouds and mist, and she carries a javelin of green metal.
The other bride is a tall, eerie woman. Her tan skin is covered with living tattoos of vines and moss. Wild tendrils of green hair flow around her. Her antlers are festooned with leaves and flowers. Her green eyes glow with feral authority. She wears layers of pelts, vines, and feathers. She carries a gnarled staff.
The party is being held deep within an ancient jungle. Towering trees intertwine high above, framing fragments of a sky filled with colorful, ever-changing clouds. Light rain falls periodically, relents, and falls again. The canopy of leaves shimmers with these showers, and sometimes flashes with crackles of silver-white electricity. The air on the ground is thick with the scent of moss, flowers, and damp. Flowers bloomed underfoot, seemingly impervious to any harm.
Guests of all kinds fill the grove, from beasts to Fae to spirits to gods. They drink and feast, talk and dance. The music is a harmonious blend of the elements: the deep rumble of thunder blends with the rhythmic drumming of woodpeckers, the trills of birds, and storm winds playing haunting melodies through trunk and branch.
The centerpiece of the celebration is an enormous banquet table woven from living vines and branches. Fruits of every season sit alongside meat freshly caught from the wild. Some meat is left raw and bloody to suit some guests. In the middle of the table sits an eldritch punchbowl made of gray driftwood and roots. The bowl holds a continuously swirling whirlpool of black seawater, descending into a disc of green-gold light that is too bright to look at it. Around the edge of the whirlpool, a beautiful blue planet floats. It rotates and bobs along, never falling further into the maelstrom.
