Ramshead is a fortress in the Outlands, near the base of Dwarven Mountain.
The fortress is at least several centuries old. It was originally built by the dwarves as a forward outpost. Until recently, Ramshead was held by the League of the Rusted Crown. The Unbroken Tide seized the fortress on November 11, 2017. Soon after, the Tide gave the fortress to the Four Dragon Paths.
The walls have large, powerful runes of protection. This prevents most beings from using magic to get in or out. Skyships can't enter without crashing. Instead, they use a landing field to the north. Creatures with innate magical flight can fly within the walls.
The League used the soul forge under Ramshead to convert bloodstones into metabiotic crystals.
