  • Aliens: This is a huge influence on Edgewar, including the theme that how humans and corporation behave can be worse than an alien monster.

Video Games

  • XCOM: Enemy Unknown (2012), 'XCOM 2 (2016): This is a good model for what Cinero is trying to run at the table, especially the story and the combat. This is the kind of possible future the Rational Ascendancy is trying to prevent. Farwatch is similar to the XCOM organization.
