The Axis of Elusive Truths is a unique phenomenon. Many experts and factions have theories about the nature of the Axis. It seems to exist at the intersection of mortal beliefs and major threads (or leylines) in the Weave, if those two things are indeed distinct. The Axis may exist because of those beliefs and threads, or it may be strengthened or sustained by them.

The Axis runs through Earth in south Chicago. The Rational Ascendancy channeled the Axis to power the Breakwater, which cut off the Prime region that includes Earth, Tessera, and Sihblos from the rest of the multiverse.

The Axis runs through Sigil in Lady's Ward. The building that surrounds the Axis is neutral ground for diviners. Many of the diviners run a kind of mutual-aid collective there.
