OOC

When you create a character, please only answering #1-5 until I've approved your general character concept. I also recommend waiting to build your character sheet.

Answering these questions is an OOC activity. The content is IC. Some details may be accessible to other PCs, if they investigate you. I may redact some details before sharing; feel free to note details that should be especially difficult for other PCs to learn.

Once I approve your answers to all 20 questions, you receive one free feat.

  1. Handle (a one-word name for use on an op); full name; pronouns
  2. Class; tentative subclass (FYI, classes and subclasses are an IC ontology used by factions on the Edge. For example, you can introduce yourself as a Circle of the Land Druid.)
  3. Background (Remember that the published backgrounds are just suggestions. You can create an original background that includes: 1 feature, 2 skills, and a total of 2 tool proficiencies and/or languages.)
  4. Source; initial Flair and Groove
  5. Why would the government of the Free Republic of Cryos trust you and recruit you as a marshal? (Hint: if you have any problems with respecting authority or working as a team, change your character concept.)
  6. Birthday; place of birth; current citizenship
  7. Species; race(s)/ethnicity(s); sexual orientation
  8. General appearance & demeanor (Suggestion: How would someone else describe you in 1-2 sentences?)
  9. Approximate age; approximate height & weight
  10. Color of eyes & hair; (optional) visible tattoos, piercings, scars, etc.
  11. Family: parent(s)/guardian(s)' names & current locations; (optional) occupation(s) & employer(s)
  12. Where you grew up
  13. Significant education/training
  14. Significant career(s) so far
  15. Current family, which could include spouse(s), partner(s), children, relatives, etc.
  16. Significant relationships to any PCs, NPCs, &/or pets
  17. Ethical, political, &/or religious beliefs (You must have at least one deep belief related to your Source.); (optional) political &/or religious affiliations
  18. Significant appetites, addictions, &/or phobias
  19. Recreations &/or hobbies (e.g., favorite foods, favorite music) (How would you relax after an op?)
  20. 1 or more current career or life goals (beyond "be a good marshal")
