Mission Report

Team: Delly (Cael), Fonn (Dragon), Ikhilzis (Schizo), Lae'eni (BLANK), Lottie (Basil), Smokes (BLANK), Ulthane (Sielic), Zenovi (Dae)

You drove to Farwatch DCHQ in the blizzard, where you met Major Lashell Kinton and General Anastasia Giordana. They issued you black ID cards as a Covert Action Team (CAT). Both emphasized that they value a good working relationship with R3M. CATs are encouraged to send 1-2 members to moving Sunday brunch, at least periodically. Giordana turned off the cameras and asked you about Nails, to which you gave an opaque response. After you departed Farwatch, you returned a call from Mordicai Gates. He told you that the far side of the Point of Entry will be Sigil Station. Lisette relayed a message from Granny Bones to meet her at Turtle Park. On route, you were interrupted by a powerful being named Bob, aka the Crazy Toymaker. He expressed delight in observing you and gave you several gifts, and then he disappeared. You called Marcos, and he explained that Bob is dangerous but not malicious, and likes children. At Turtle Park, Bob briefly reappeared and asked whether you wanted Nails or Brother Iron back. Fonn chose Iron. You walked through a portal to the back of Oma Janda, a primal god who protects the descendants of African slaves. Oma Janda appears as a giant turtle, walking a circle over a submerged version of Washington, DC. Granny Bones was waiting for you in a belvedere, looking banged up from battle. She had Brother Iron with her, petrified. Lottie, Fonn, and Zenovi returned Iron to life, partly using Fonn's boon from the Farmer. Iron was briefly awake but then collapsed in a healing sleep. Granny Bones left to continue the hunt for Nails.

  • Lottie: "I don't miss being a ghost but it did save a lot of time." Lottie muses as she knits in the backseat
  • Blanks in the van, chilling except not because the car has heat
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): Delly's grin quirks.
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): Hanging back a moment, she passes khilzis a hand warmer.
  • Fonn Razorenth: Fonn nods subtley at the security. She's noting every recording/servailence device she can see.
  • Ikhilzis Poisonblood takes it gratefully. Big man gets cold easily!
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): Delly's grin widens a little, fondly.
  • Ikhilzis Poisonblood gets some tea, black.
  • Fonn Razorenth: Fonn will take a cup of juice. She drinks very little of it
  • Lottie: Lottie tries dorritos. She's fascinated by them and chews them very slowly"
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): I"m not that piratical! I just wayted to be a little dashing, is all."
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): Delly examines herself in the face of her P3.
  • Ikhilzis Poisonblood: Chain: .... You buckle swashes almost daily.
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): "I do /not!/ I'm low key!"
  • Ikhilzis Poisonblood sips his tea quietly, relaxed vigilance while seated in the farthest seat.
  • Black card serial number starts with: * 1: Foreign Sleeper * 2: Domestic Sleeper * 3: Foreign Edgewalker * 4: Domestic Edgewalker * 5: Farwatch
  • Fonn Razorenth: Fonn wonders through the chain, "I wonder if ice dragon breath is under negative ninety?"
  • Giordana: Where is Nails? He usually introduces one of his new teams. I was hoping to catch up with my old friend.
  • Mordicai lets you know that the POE will link to Sigil Station. When creating a border checkpoint, it's good to shift the burden to the other side of the border. In this case, it will be easier to screen and prep non-human "ravens" on the Sigil side (e.g., equip them with Rings of Alter Self). ("Ravens" is slang for Credentialed Extraterrestrial Visitor.")
  • Ikhilzis Poisonblood sips his remaining tea, and is in silent communication with Arkitalos for a few moments. To anyone in the chain, it seems like a burst of extra static as the two speak to each other at the speed of thought. It is possible the two beings are actually getting a long, as Ikhilzis doesn't tense up AS much.
  • Lottie: :I didn't realize cars could fly"
  • Ulthane Stonebeard 2.0: I believe that we should provide the information to Rixa, at a neutral location. We do not want her rivals to intercept the information, and we do have personal investment in locating the point of entry in the Japanese embassy.
  • Ikhilzis Poisonblood: Sounds good. Ah.
  • Lottie: I believe the same, however I would like to meet her at Talarin in order to establish contact with her dissenters. I think that knowing her rivals is important to understand if we can trust her.
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): Snow has a BALL playing in the snow. He burrows, flops, runs, flings himself into snowbanks, and eats it a little.
  • Both blanks join the turtles
  • Lottie and the gang are coming up with code phrases to alien check
  • Ikhilzis Poisonblood raises an eyebrow and looks around for any particular threats considering how Granny Bones looks..
  • Lottie: Lottie bows a bit
  • So far, dealing with minions, mostly Slaad. Signs that the mastermind is an Illithid or Beholder
  • Ikhilzis Poisonblood: .e will attempt to pick up Brother Iron , and set him so that he's balanced and won't break. Keeping a hand on the statue is the powerful druid.
  • Lottie: At the smell of lightning, Lottie thwicks out her shield and stands in front of Smokes and Lae'eni. When he recovers, she lets it down.
  • Lottie: Lottie comes over to Brother Iron's side as Zenovi examines him, puts her coat under his head, and gives him a point of hp from her lay on hands as she lifts his head.
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): "Great Cat's teeth. You are beautiful," Delly says respectfully. "Sharp and beautiful as deep winter's cold at night, snow under moonlight."
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): Chain: "We should ask about the Toymaker- let her know."
  • Fonn Razorenth: Fonn crouches and runs her hand over the part of Oma Janda they're standing on. She wonders at the history and life, something this big made out of people's belief.
  • Lottie: Later Lottie will ask to inspect the sword and say "Delly, I hope this sword being made of such quality bone means I am being adequetly replaced." and after saying that will knock on the sword a second and whisper to it "Just in case, if you are also possessed do make yourself known, Delly and I will help you."
  • Delly (Delsari Orist Nym Galadant): "Oh, I'm not keeping it, I wouldn't dare. It's the weapon of aqueen, for one, and for two, it's sentient, like you were. I'm actually... quite honored. When the sword is your life, putting it in someone else's hands is a gesture of trust that I did not expect."
