Mechadead are mechanically-enhanced undead, or "mechanized undead." Necromancers on many different worlds have experimented with "improving" undead by implanting and/or grafting on weapons, armor, and various enhancements.
The Adintech Conspiracy has used mechadead extensively, including Caterina Berrett. The power of bloodstones allows members of the conspiracy to build unusually powerful, sturdy mechadead.
