In many paradigms, a spirit comes into being through the shared beliefs and emotions of the residents. The nature of those beliefs and emotions influences the personality and activities of the spirit. Founders and civic leaders can be especially influential.
District of Columbia
DC has three spirits: Sorrow, Anger, and Ambition. This fragmentation implies much about the discordant visions and aspirations of the peoples and factions here.
Sigil
Sigil is a focus on endless debate. Is the Lady of Pain the spirit of the city? If not, what is the spirit and what is its relationship to the Lady? Could the Lady prevent a spirit from existing, or at least moving freely?[Category:Magic]]
