The Doomguard are one of the 15 factions of Sigil. They believe that the multiverse is supposed to fall apart, cool, and fall silent. Various members have different interpretations. Some try to accelerate the process directly, like breaking things. Others study chaos theory and try to apply it for more subtle but rippling effects.

The Planewalker's Handbook has this to say:

All things decay, all things die, all things decompose. It's called entropy, and it's the force that rules the multiverse. … We'll be the ones laughing in the end, when the last chunk of stone in the multiverse finally turns to dust.

The Doomguard is undecided on slavery. In some cases, it increases order, while in others it increases chaos.
