Transphysics

Idea

Transphysics is an emerging, interdisciplinary science in technomancy paradigms. It draws on arcane traditions, quantum physics, and other sciences to understand, predict, and utilize transdimensional and transplanar phenomena.

Some applications of transphysics include:

• Artificial Singularity Projector (ASP): a faster-than-light (FTL) propulsion system for starships. It allegedly depends on continually creating momentary singularities just ahead of a starship, warping space and pulling the vessel forward.
• Jump Core: this is the slang term for a transplanar drive, a magitec engine that allows for near-instantaneous travel between two points in the multiverse. It was inspired and partly derived from the Plane Shift spell.
• Trans Comms: a cutting-edge approach to faster-than-light (FTL) communications. A networks of stealth miniships with ASPs and/or jump cores are used relay messages via short-range FTL burns or jump core jumps. Capturing a miniship might allow an enemy to study it, so they're allegedly programmed to self destruct if threatened.

Trans Systems

Alesia's Fundamentals of Transphysics says this:

Cyberintelligence and neotelesis have spawned a number of competing, productive theories that apply quantum physics and relativity in conjunction with arcane models to innovate beyond microprocessor hardware and semantic software.

Some transphysicists aim to blend their new field with ultraconsciousness principles. While ultraconsciousness leverages networks of minds, "trans systems" approaches try to create similar networks in other systems, from subatomic particles to ecosystems to solar systems. Some theories in trans systems read like religious tracts, as researchers try to find predictable patterns in nature, and then hack them.
