RB 5-1: Investigating Grazal's Metals

The team meets Sgt. Kognoir Berylhand of Harmonium, who notifies them that the green dragon corpse and remains of the blood-steam golem are secured. The team is briefed on a lead on Proud's location: a gray market forge called Grazal's Metals. They get help from two gryphon riders to travel to the Lower Ward. They front as Harmonium conducting a surprise inspection. The drow operating Grazal's are reluctantly compliant. Phobos meets a minotaur smith named Vard Soothoof. The drow priestess in charge, Naluni Pogray, challenges the team to submit to a Zone of Truth.

In the Happy Bariaur

• The team is in the Happy Bariaur, a restaurant that caters both to smallfolk and quadrupeds, with furniture appropriate to both. The restaurant is closed with the drapes drawn, to offer the team privacy. The owners and staff are staunch supporters of the Unbroken Tide. There is food and drink, medicine, and baths available.

• Grazal's Metals is a gray market forge, melting down weapons, armor, and scrap. The forge is suspected of laundering evidence of crimes (e.g., cremating bodies, melting down distinctive metal items). The forge sells the recycled metal, and also likely produces restraints used by the League.
