Dwight Mackey, Sr. and Dwight Mackey, Jr. are the same person.

Mackey was an electrical engineer who helped pioneer the wireless telegraph during World War 2. As a PhD candidate, Mackey shared lab space with Elias Rossman, but Elias transferred to a different university after the two men accused each other of stealing research. Mackey went on to found Primex, and his patents provided the foundation for the company's financial empire.

Mackey used paranormal methods to extend his life and appear younger. He pretended to be his own son and took over leadership of Primex.

Brother Iron: Among the Order of One Terra, Mackey is also known as Dr. Jekyll. He is old, brilliant, powerful, and exceedingly dangerous.
