Source Points (SP) replace Inspiration. The team shares a pool of SP, with a maximum of 10. PCs can claim and spend SP in several ways. Whenever any PC gains or spends SP, use the team's pool.

Source Points represent the team's individual and collective connections to their Sources.

Gaining SP

As a player, you are responsible for noticing when your PC should claim one SP and speaking up. The DM decides whether the SP is claimed.

A PC can claim SP when they finish particular behaviors. The list include any behavior that...

  • Fulfills your Groove in the Fist
  • Honors your Ideal
  • Would earn Piety with your god
  • Another PC praises

As a player, you may see additional behaviors that are worthy of claiming SP. You're free to ask the DM if they agree.

Spend SP

As a player, you are responsible for suggesting when your PC should spend one SP and speaking up. The team decides whether the SP is spent.

A PC can spend one SP for one of the following instant effects:

  • Recharge one use of a feature as if you had completed a short or long rest, or regain one highest spell slot.
  • Reduce your Exhaustion level by one.
  • Relocate by projecting or shifting across the Curb between the Grid and the Swift.
  • Reroll one roll you made. You must accept the new roll. The roll may include one or more dice (e.g., a damage roll). The roll can be part of a wheels.

As a player, you may see additional uses for SP. You're free to ask the DM if they agree.
