The Change is the process of transforming from a mundane being into a paranormal being. A wide variety of causes can lead to a Change. Different paradigms cause and treat the Change differently. For example, some technomancers try to catalyze a Change through surgically implanting advanced cybernetic systems. Raptor Blue has become especially aware of Changes caused by metabiotic crystals.
The Change is typically an experience of paranormal metamorphosis and/or awakening. Unbound must go through the Change to begin conscious control of their belief-based abilities.
