Compact Flamethrower
This weapon looks like a large heavy rifle, with a hardened cylinder instead of a magazine. It's designed to be used at short range in short bursts.
Damage: 2d4+4 fire
Properties: Ammunition (range 15/30), heavy, reload (5 shots), two-handed
If the target is flammable or wearing flammable gear, they must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 12) or start burning. If they're burning, the target (or any ally) can spend an action to put out the fire. Otherwise, they'll take another 1d4+2 fire damage at the start of their next turn. Then the flames will burn out. Any gear they're wearing may be damaged by the flames (DM's choice).
