Getting Started

Here are the steps to get started at this table. Cinero is happy to help with any of this.

Essential

1. Confer with Aslene on what the team needs.
2. Skim Rules Changes.
3. Read Covenants.
4. Ask Cinero to create a Google Doc for your PC.
5. Answer questions #1-5 in the Google Doc, and then ask Cinero to approve them.
6. Set up Fantasy Grounds.
   1. Download and install Fantasy Grounds Unity. See: Fantasy Grounds.
   2. For information on how to connect, see the pinned message in the announcements channel in Discord.
   3. Once in Fantasy Grounds, load all the modules.
7. Set up Syrinscape.
   1. You can either download and install the Syrinscape Online Player app on your computer, or you can use the browser page. See: Syrinscape.
   2. For information on how to connect, see the pinned message in the announcements channel in Discord.
8. (optional) Build your PC outside Fantasy Grounds (e.g., D&D Beyond, on paper).
9. Build your PC in Fantasy Grounds.
   1. When adding a spell, choose the version with parenthetical information in the name. This version is programmed to speed up play.
10. Give Cinero a portrait of your PC, in Discord.

Recommended

1. (optional) Answer questions #6-20 in the Google Doc, and then ask Cinero to approve them. When he approves them, you get a free feat. (You can finish this after you've already started playing.
