The team continues the battle in the heart of the haunted hive. Jane realizes that Dom the hydra is a dead monster native to the ocean, given form from the team's memory from Chicago. Proud frees Ruby Bridges' third hunter-killer and coaches them in opening the archival shell. Ruby's swarm resumes converting the lab into a light cruiser, saying they want to accompany Raptor Blue.
