Native Environment: Beyond Closeness
Assemblers are an autonomous, adaptive, nano-scale, biomechanical lifeform. Assemblers are a combination of nanomachines and variable protein compounds. Assemblers form mobile pools that often resemble liquid silver or mercury. Pools join into swarms and swarms join into hives.
Assemblers have limited abilities in their initial form. However, assemblers are capable of adapting living and nonliving materials into a variety of purposeful creatures and devices. This especially includes Assembler Forms, or AForms. A wide variety of AForms have been observed.
