In Edgewar is an unusual setting for a tabletop role-playing game. To help you better understand the setting and your options, here are some useful "verbs" (or non-combat actions).
You are a R3M Covert Action Team. You can do any of the following.
* ''Reinforcements'': [[R3M]] is a private military company. It can temporarily provide you with a variety of additional personnel. These personnel can include paramilitary troopers, paramedics, lawyers, private investigators, hackers, and many other kinds of professionals. You can request reinforcements who are familiar with the [[Edge]] or who are unaware of it.
* ''Requisition'': request special gear, vehicles, etc. [[R3M]] is a private military company, with access to a variety of advanced and/or dangerous materiel.
* ''Research'': learn more about a topic, such as a paranormal species or the history of a faction. This can include using the normal ways (e.g., the Internet) as well as unusual ways, especially the [[Aegis Database]]. Access to the Database is a key perk of working for [[R3M]]. You may have several ways to research, based on your [[Paradigm]], background, abilities, contacts, etc.
* ''Scan'': learn more about a location, being, or object. Based on your PC's [[Paradigm]], abilities, and gear, you may have several ways to scan. You may be able to combine multiple ways, and/or combine your ways with another PC's ways.
* ''Surveil'': observe a location, organization, group, or being in realtime. This can include using the [[Aegis Network]]. Access to the Network is another key perk of working for [[R3M]]. You may have several ways to research, based on your [[Paradigm]], spells, gear, etc.
* ''TAG Team'': The [[Talarin Corporation]] is under contract to provide a [[TAG Team]] upon request. Basically, once you secure a site, a TAG Team can clean up and study it for you.
