Magic; Slang

All [[Unbound]] are part of a latent telepathic network, which some call the Chain. Even Unbound who are unaware of their unusual nature can still vaguely, instinctively sense the presence of other Unbound. With practice, Unbound can learn to actively sense and track other Unbound. Unbound can also communicate through the Chain, including sharing thoughts, feelings, perceptions, and memories.

== Rules ==

If an Unbound doesn't want to be found or reached, the two Unbound each make an saving throw of Int, Wis, or Cha (each player's choice). If the seeker fails or both succeed, the Unbound remains unreachable. If the target fails, they're reached.

Once two characters have practiced communicating via the Chain, as a player you're usually free to communicate with other players about what your character is perceiving, thinking, and feeling. The Chain also allows one Unbound to transfer raw Belief to another (i.e., you can give your Inspiration to another PC).
