== Overview ==

The Republic Marshals are the judicial branch of the [[Free Republic of Sihblos]]. Marshals have a variety of duties. They transport people, goods, and information. They serve as investigators, judges, and troubleshooters. They provide advanced medical care and other aid.

When the new government of the Republic created the Marshals, they hired [[R3M]] consultants. Thus, many values and procedures are similar to R3M's.

((Republic Marshals are partly inspired by the gunslingers of the Dark Tower series (Stephen King) and the heralds of the Valdemar series (Mercedes Lackey).))
