We were hired as contractors in the Republic Marshals Service. We're part of two teams of marshals being deployed to the territory of Icewind Plateau. Our walker is Whispered Truths. We traveled southwest away from New Liberty. Our route will take us through the kingdom of Kambra. We met Sergeant Morris Keller. He oriented us to the walker and some of our gear. We met the skipper and Senior Marshal, Reezelyn (aka Skadi). She briefed us on our mission.

** It's comparable to traveling from Washington, DC to British Columbia.
** With ideal terrain, by walker, that's about 4 days.
** With the actual terrain, and with reasonable weather, it's about 7 days.
** A thopter with no headwind could make the trip in about 20 hours. However, it would need to land to swap power cells at least twice.
