We reunited with the Whispered Truths. Doc transferred Gideon to the Truth's med pod and continued treating him. Breaker transferred the secure Reaver artifact/server. We reached the edge of Icewind Plateau and the city of Bryn Shander. It's one of the largest settlements and where the territory's Council of Speakers meets.

We met Sheriff Markham Southwell. He connected us with Dr. Charles Clayton, an apprentice psion. Clayton's master, Dr. Samuel Campbell, was attempting to treat Louisa Vyner, a companion in a catatonic state. Campbell was sucked into Vyner's mind. Meanwhile, some us visited Mayor Duvassa Shane. She welcomed us warmly. Bryn Shander's factories are dormant in the absence of raw materials. The city's west wind farm has declining production, which may just be late maintenance.

** is a dutiful Human leader. She long brown hair and wind-burnt cheeks. Duvassa wears a blue tunic with a white fur stole, sensible black oilskin pants, and sturdy work boots. She often has a ruggedized tablet strapped to her left forearm. Duvassa seems both cheerful and weary.
