Team: Aoibhe (Dae), Key (Dragon), Magni (Wynnri),  Reezelyn (Aslene), Wraith (Mike) [Pebble in sick bay]

We recovered and cleaned up from the Grip race. Sergeant Keller continued giving us a tour of the walker. He emphasized the roles that water, electricity, and heat play in the walker’s operation and survival. He ran a practice ambush outside. Magni used the crane while Key shifted into a dire wolf. Next, Keller had us practice shooting at clay pigeons. He showed us how to use the walker’s sensors to see clearly in a blizzard. Finally, we were briefed on our first field op as a team: investigate the corpse of a giant weasel.

* Key (Khione): Dire wolf Key is probably one of the least unnatural forms she's turned into. The silver fur and draconic snout are odd but not unnatural and her large claws are hidden by big furry paws. Of course, the heirloom jewelry remains on her front paws, however otherwise she is near indistinguishable from another wolf.
* Magni Snorrison: AS he exits, Magni flinches from the hail and scowls at the sky, as if the hail is a personal insult.
* Reezelyn Harts`: Reeze moves casually around Aoibhe, blocking the wind that's hitting Aoi from that side. Still standing, she leans into the Direwolf's side, like another Direwolf might do, sharing heat and contact.
* Key (Khione): Key, squinting at an old tome of beasts. "I can turn into something Earth historians call a... 'velociraptor?'"
* Dead megafauna, infested with white zamander eggs, zamanders are attracted to electricity and chew into cables
* Carry zamander fever
* Unclear why they were attracted to a giant weasel
