Learning from Soul Stone: Lyndi Fletcher (Aslene) (listening)

The heroes made ready to depart Themis Station. They were briefed on spelljamming by Delanos, Max, and Proud. They were further briefed on the Tardigrade's capabilities. They performed live fire exercises with the Tardigrade and Lyndron. They said good-bye to Delanos Skyguard and formally christened their ship. They flew from Themis Station to the crystal shell wall, then through into the phlogiston. Not long after, they encountered an ambush set by three neogi mindspiders. They crippled one mindspider and killed an umber hulk that boarded the Tardigrade. They cloaked and slipped away into the deep flow.

* Wasp is a spelljammer, appeared during the Fulcrum Moment after the Chaos Orb started to rupture

* Perfidy and Haelra were traveling from Sigil through the Astral Plane to Earth

* Each ship also has environmental seals and life support (including temperature regulation, atmosphere recycling, and stored oxygen), powered by a fusion reactor
* Each ship has metametal tanks for self-repair, and for producing raw materials and manufactured products
* The Tardigrade has the infrastructure and starter plants for onboard hydroponics walls

** Both are dictated by motive forces of acceleration and deceleration, and the size and mass of the ship
** Every ship has a Ship Rating 0-20+

** A simple ship's launch has Rating 1
** A typical trading vessel, like the Oldbuck, has Rating 3-4
** A T'Aramont battlecruiser has Rating 5
** T'Aramont fighters have Rating 8-13+

** Tardigrade Shiplets (spirits of Traveler): Rating 7
** Bronislav (spirit): Rating 8
* The Tardigrade and Bronislav each has an integrated spelljammer helm
** A pilot must have all their spell slots to use the helm
** The pilot's highest spell slot will determine the boost: +1 to +9
** Using the helm for a typical combat will use half the pilot's spell slots (add the total of all slots, then use up a total that is half that)
** A pilot can't cast a spell or concentrate on a spell while using the helm
** Using the helm for longer than a typical combat will use all the pilot's spell slots
* The Tardigrade has a jumpcore from Dol'modeen
** The Tardigrade can teleport without error anywhere on a planet or similar area
** The Tardigrade can teleport within a crystal sphere or similar area. There is a chance of error, especially when teleporting somewhere the ship has never been. If the error would be damaging, the Tardigrade doesn't teleport.
** The Tardigrade can planeshift
** There is a limit to how many jumps the Tardigrade can make before needing a long rest. Longer jumps, more frequent jumps, and planeshifting are all more tiring. So far, the Tardigrade hasn't hit their limit. (Bronislav never hit his limit.)

* Ball is an umber hulk, which burrows into the Tardi
* Sylvi and Cyrus respond to the intruder
* Sylvi takes out the hulk
* Tardi cloaks and slips away into the deep flow
* Max joins the Chain, apparently because the Tardigrade made it so
